Tagga.ai is built around one rule: your audio is never stored. This page explains what we keep, what we never keep, and who processes what.

Your audio is never stored

Uploaded audio is staged temporarily for the duration of the analysis, then deleted. It is never written to our database, never used for training, and cannot be re-downloaded afterwards — not even by you.

What we store

Text and images only: the metadata generated for each analysis, the measured audio characteristics (numbers such as BPM, key, and loudness), your profile preferences, your credit ledger, payment events, and any cover art you generate so you can re-download it.

Sign-in

Authentication is handled by Clerk. We store your Clerk user id to scope your history and credits to your account; your password never touches our servers.

Payments

Stripe processes all payments. We store payment events — what was bought, when, and the credits granted — for bookkeeping. Card numbers never reach us.

AI processing

To generate metadata, we send the measured characteristics of your beat — numbers and labels, never the audio itself — to an AI language model provider.

Cookies

Tagga.ai uses functional cookies only: a session cookie from Clerk that keeps you signed in, and a cookie that remembers your language. There are no advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies anywhere in the product.

Retention and sharing

Your data lives in a managed PostgreSQL database and is kept while your account exists or until you delete it. It is never sold, and it is shared only with the processors named on this page, strictly to operate the service.

Deleting your data

You can delete any single analysis from your workspace, clear your entire history from settings, or delete your account entirely. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, remaining credits, history, and cover art, plus your sign-in identity. Payment records are retained as required for bookkeeping.
